Resin and acrylic are not the same. Resin is a liquid substance that can be mixed with various materials to create a solid, clear, and glossy material that can be molded into various shapes. On the other hand, acrylic is a type of plastic that is made from a polymer called polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA).
Acrylic is often used as a substitute for glass because of its clarity, durability, and shatter-resistant properties. While both resin and acrylic can be used in jewellery making, they are different materials with unique properties and characteristics.
